Aging doesn't have to mean the loss of muscle, bone, mobility and independance. At Greysteel, Dr. Jonathon Sullivan helps people in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond get stronger with personal, one-on-one coaching, using safe, effective exercises and programming. As we grow older, it's harder to hang on to muscle and bone. Loss of this tissue increases frailty, insulin resistance, chronic pain, and susceptibility to injury and disease. We think that's unacceptable. A growing body of published research shows that strength training is the most important form of exercise for those in their 40s and beyond. When it comes to filling the prescription for strength, nothing comes close to barbells for safety, precise dosing, simplicity, and effectiveness across the entire range of fitness attributes.
